g2 Energy Generation are actively seeking suitable Embedded Generation Development sites across the UK…

Gas is one of the most flexible sources of generation and has proven an attractive prospect to UK developers because it is an efficient form of thermal generation, meaning that more electricity can be produced from less fuel than is the case with other fossil fuel technologies.

We are seeking sites for Peaking Plant development which will utilise Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology. Once constructed, these will assist the National Grid with energy required at peak times to meet demand. If you think you have a suitable site for development, please contact us on 01234 482482 or email [email protected] .

Our first Peaking Plant project has been secured at Bond Estates in Milton Keynes and we are due to commence construction in April 2017, for completion in September 2017. For more information on all our projects, please see the case studies below.

Our existing portfolio of embedded generation projects consists of 8 individual 500kW Wind Turbine’s located across areas of South Wales. These were all constructed by g2 Energy and are maintained and operated by our Project’s team.

g2 Energy Generation can offer clients a number of services to ensure the smooth completion of their embedded generation scheme.

Utilising the High Voltage (HV) Electrical & Civil engineering experience of g2 Energy , we can identify, acquire, design and build a complete generation project, from initial feasibility, through to planning, installation and connection onto the National Grid; therefore offering clients and investors a full turnkey solution, reducing risk and ensuring efficient return on investment.

Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Full Design Works:
