Over 5 Gigawatts (GW) of projects were put forward to National Grid’s EFR tender, with just 200MW of projects being successful in the first round. Therefore, these projects alone equate to 25% of the total secured projects within this round of the Tender process. National Grid define the EFR as a service which achieves 100% active power output at 1 second or less of registering a frequency deviation. It is a new service which is being developed to improve management of the Grid before a fault occurs*.

132kV & 33kV Contestable Works…

With g2 Energy completing both the Contestable and Balance of Plant Client Side works, this will ensure the smooth delivery and installation of the Battery Containers to site.
