New Warehouse Premises

27th Jan

g2 Energy are pleased to announce that we have recently moved into new larger warehouse premises in Milton Keynes. The 14,500 sq. foot building is over double the size of the previous building and can accommodate up to twice the amount of capacity as the previous facility.

We use our warehouse facility for the build and testing of our Containerised Substations. As a company, we are able to design, build and install bespoke Container Substations in-house, for both the Contestable Works and the Client’s electrical infrastructure. These can be designed and built to meet each Distribution Network Operator’s ( DNO ) standards, as well as a variety of solutions for clients.
As the containers are assembled in our warehouse, this means delivery timescales are minimised and bespoke solutions are met in a timely manner. The warehouse also has the means to test and pre-install switchgear meaning build-out of this equipment can continue despite adverse weather conditions. The containers can then be delivered to site ready for connection, and for customer witness testing.

The new warehouse premises have three operating roof cranes to assist with the lifting and manoeuvring of Containerised Substations. This makes the build out process much more efficient, therefore reducing completion times.
